Will adding RAM to my notebook increase my video ram?

I run windows vista ultimate, i have a crappy video card, im buying this week an extra gig of ram, how will it affect my video card performace? Now...i have like 32 mb of video ram..... i already have one gig, so that would be 2.|||If you have a crappy video card then no, if your video card is crappy because it is integrated then yes, because it shares the RAM.

Edit:

Glad I could help. Just as a thought, you should definitely get a video card, especially since you are running vista, which is such a resource hog.|||No, RAM (the computers memory - located on the motherboard) is different from the Videos RAM (which is on the video card) You can not add video ram, you would just have to buy a new video card.|||video ram is diffrent form memory ram

if your buying memory DDR RAM then that wont do anything for you...you need a totally new video card, you cant just add memory to a VGA card dude but you could increase its clock speed but that wont do also....just a buy a new vga card|||It wouldnt affect it.

If you have 512 Mb grafic memory on your computer it will not be faster because of the memory of the grafic.

Two diffenrent things.|||no it will not
