Can i change my notebook's nvidia 8400m gs video card?

I have a notebook with a nvidia 8400m gs card can i replace it with another one?And also is there a possibility to replace it with a card that use a normal pc|||I don't think video chips in notebooks are replaceable. If you want better graphics your only option is to buy a new notebook with a better chip (and hopefully more dedicated memory).|||It's not an easy process. They have developed cards that go into the side of the laptops (provided you have an Express 54 slot). The cards for the laptops (internally) are usually well over $200, but can be found through froogle (nvidia appears to be the only ones that will sell the cards separately.)

Hope this helps!|||It would be way too hard to do so... It would be too risky as well. Buy a new laptop or send your current one to a professional to be fixed. Don't do it yourself unless you know what you are doing.

Good Luck...|||I know for sure you can't put no video card from a tower in a laptop... I'm not sure about changing your video card though... as it is probably Integrated into your motherboard....I wouldn't doubt that if you went to a computer repair/ computer sales store that they would happily install a new one for you...at a price.|||video card on laptop is intigrated on motherboard so you cannot change only video card. Dont try any thing.|||You can't switch out laptop video cards
