Are there any retailers that sell laptop/notebook graphics cards?

I'm buying a Dell studio 17 laptop with an i7 processor, 4gb ram at 1333 MHz, etc. Please do not suggest other brands of laptop to buy just answer my question. Are there any retailers that will sell notebook grade video cards. I'm looking particularly for ATI mobility radeon HD 5600, 5700, or 5800 series but I'll buy nvidia too if I have to|||Upgrading Dell computers is a nightmare at the best of times due to their love of proprietary parts and non-support of BIOS mods needed to run non-Dell hardware.

On the other hand, looking at Dell's website, I was able to configure a Studio 17 with Mobility Radeon HD 5650 graphics, which is enough gaming power for most people. If that's not enough, you'll have to head upwards into Dell's Alienware line.

Note: even if the video cards can be swapped, heat dissipation is an integral part of laptop design. A thermal solution built for a 25W card isn't going to be able to Handele a 45W card.|||The place that makes these beautiful laptops with the card included at robbery prices (For you so thats GOOD) is Kobalt computers. Ive bought one and it betters my £1500 Desktop I made reccently. Amazing laptop (always needs to be plugged in though, but thats not a problem for me. Drinks Power!)

|||Thats a tricky thing, the only real way to upgrade laptop video performance is via external PCIe boxes.

Theres a cupple out there one by asus, there external housing units for video cards. They plug in via a PCIe slot on your laptop with a card. only issue is that means you need to hookup a monitor too.

Those things arnt cheap either.

As for internal card upgrades the only way you can do that is via the vendor.
