Which one is better an i3 notebook with 512mb dedicated videocard or an i5 without?

notebook have the same specs except for their processors and the other one having dedicated video card. (Sales assitant told me that with an i5 processor there is no need for a didicated video card, don know if this holds true)|||If your using it for gaming or some graphic program, I suggest dedicated video card|||choose i5 because it's better you know. Yes with i3 they gives you vc but if you but it separately it was no cost to much. The processor price is highly different than just buying a graphic card or vc card separately
