How do I upgrade the video card in my notebook?
With most notebook computers the video is built into the motherboard. It can be updated, but not upgraded, so to speak. In other words with most laptops you are stuck with what they built it with. You can not change them like you can in a desktop. You might be able to go into the bios and set it to share a greater amount of memory to get better resolution, or it might just have it's own dedicated memory. If it has it's own memory the only settings would be through the properties dialog. I hope this answers your question, Good Luck.|||AS WITHALL GRAPHICS YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO GO TO THEIR SITE AND LOOK FOR UPDATES OR DOWNLOADS AS NVIDIA.COM AND LIKE|||That is depend on your notebook. So I need to know can upgrade or cannot. You should check the your notebook website.|||Unfortunately There are not many companys that build laptops with video card that can be replaced. Alot of them come with integrated graphics which cannot be replaced. I would say the chances of your laptops vid card being upgradeable is bery slim.
